Reaching Forward was born from Jason’s desire to contribute something meaningful and spiritually uplifting to society in a non-church environment.

The mission of Reaching Forward is to provide content that is encouraging, educational and grounded firmly in the ancient teachings of Scripture.

It aims to be relevant and accessible to Christians at all stages of their faith journey.

Meet Jason Steinborne

Jason lives in Adelaide, Australia with his wife and two young children. Jason was raised in the Christadelphian movement and gave his life to Jesus at the age of 20. After 15 years of active involvement in that community he was excommunicated over some theological differences with the Christadelphians. What followed were some very challenging years involving a lot of bewilderment, questioning and ulitmately mental health challenges as he navigated the deconstruction and reconstruction of his faith. Today he considers himself non-demoninational and believes a personal relationship with Jesus is the essence of Christianity. Jason has a spent his whole life studying the Bible and continues to explore and interrogate the text to inform his theology and philosophy. He uses the Logos Bible Study Platform and has a large library of resources from various Christian traditions.
